Top Athletic Performers

West Suburban Conference, made up of 7 schools, is one of the most competitive in the state. There are over 800 high schools in the state. Hinsdale Central competes very well with perennial winners such as New Trier, which has student enrollment of 4,000 vs. Hinsdale Central with 2700 students.

FALL SPORTS

Football: Conference Champs, advanced to the second round of playoffs, have had a good run for years.
Athletic scholarships: Sean Allison (Drake), Josh Narcisse (College of DuPage), Jack McGarry (Missouri), Micah McCurry (Hope College)
Boys Golf: Conference, Regional Champs, 2nd in Sectionals, 3rd in State. Michael Spitzer, Athletic Scholarship (Illinois Wesleyan)
Girls Golf: Champs at Conference, Regionals, Sectionals. 4th in State.
All State Freshman: Elyssa Abdullah, was 4th in State.
Boys Cross-Country: Regional Champs, 3rd at Sectionals, 2nd at State. Dan Watcke was 14th in State.
Girls Cross-Country: Champs at Conference, Regionals, Sectionals, 3rd in State. Cate McCabe, All State Runner, set a state record.
Forensics Activity: came in 8th in State
Mock Trial Activity: came in 10th in State
Girls Tennis: Conference, Sectional, and State Champs, Doubles Team: Sophia Kim, Katie Dollens 2nd in State. Singles: Anna Wiskowski 4th in State. Nicole Hu, Zoe Limparis, Bridget Novatny qualified for State. Dollens: Scholarship to U. of Delaware, Limparis: Scholarship to Illinois State.
Girls Swimming and Diving: Conference, Sectional Champs. Came in 2nd overall in State.
Girls 200 Yd Medley Relay: came in 2nd: Kit Schneider, Caroline Kramer, Haley Dynis, Lauren Biegel
Girls 200 Yd IM: came in 10th, Caroline Kramer
Girls 1 Meter Diving: came in 10th, Kayla Teuscher. Scholarship to West Point Academy
Girls 500 Yd Freestyle: came in 9th, Burlingtyn Bokos
Girls 200 Yd Freestyle Relay: came in 5th: Kit Schneider, Lauren Biegel, Haley Dynis, Phoebe Paarlberg
Girls 100 Yd Breaststroke: came in 5th: Caroline Kramer

Boys Wrestling All-State: Cody Tavaso came in 6th at 132 lbs. Marco Ivanisevic came in 5th, at 220 lbs.
Girls Basketball: All-State: Eleanor Monyek. Played in All-Star Game. Going to U. of Dayton
Boys Swimming and Diving: Conference, Sectional Champs. Came in 2nd overall in State.
Boys 200 Yd Medley Relay: came in 3rd: Samuel Daw, Joshua Bey, Jeffrey Hou, Andrew Gilbert
Boys 200 Yd IM: Jeffrey Hou came in 8th, Nate Harris came in 11th
Boys 50 Yd Freestyle: Andrew Gilbert came in 5th
Boys 1 Meter Diving: came in 9th: Conor Furlong
Boys 100 Yd Butterfly: came in 1st: Jeffrey Hou

4 x 800 Meter Relay: came in 2nd: Aden Bandukwala, Michael Skora, Grant Miller, Colby Revord* * In Nike Nationals, ran the fastest 4 x 800 relay in nation this year, and set Illinois state record
4 x 400 Meter Relay: came in 2nd: Aden Bandukwala, Grant Miller, Mehlum Anjarwala, Dan Watke Dan Watke also came in 2nd in 800 meters

SPRING SPORTS

Boys Baseball: Conference Champs for 2nd year in a row
Boys Tennis: Conference, Sectional and State Champs
Singles Champion: Mujtiba Ali-Khan, defeated team mate Noah Hernandez, who came in second
Doubles Teams: Jai Vallurupalli/Antony Lipari came in 2nd, Alex Kotarski/James Theriault placed
Boys Volleyball: Regional Champs, Sweet 16. Jakobi Lange has a scholarship to USC.
Boys Gymnastics: Matt Cihlar took 7th in State in Parallel Bars, won All-State Honors
Girls Track: Two All-State Performers: Katy McCabe came in 2nd in 800 meters in State, Elyssa Chandler came in 7th in 300 meter low hurdles
Girls Lacrosse: came in second in State
