These therapies allow for precise, minimally invasive treatment of pain at the level of the nervous system either by modulating pain signals with electrical stimulation or by delivering medication directly to the spinal fluid in small, targeted doses. The Minuteman device stabilizes the spine through a small incision, improving function for patients with conditions like spinal stenosis while avoiding open surgery. Basivertebral nerve ablation is especially helpful for patients with chronic low back pain related to degeneration within the vertebrae. Peripheral nerve stimulation offers another option, using temporary or implantable devices placed near specific nerves to interrupt pain signals, often with lasting benefit.
