Founded in 1936, IC Catholic Prep (ICCP) is a Catholic, college-preparatory high school rooted in academic excellence and spiritual formation. Celebrating 90-years of excellence and guided by the mission to Learn, Lead, and Serve, ICCP prepares young men and women to lead with integrity, compassion, and purpose while making a meaningful impact in their communities.

ICCP provides a holistic education that nurtures the mind, body, and spirit. Through daily prayer, regular Masses, faith formation, and retreats, students grow in their relationship with God and learn the importance of serving others. This strong spiritual foundation shapes graduates who are confident in their faith and committed to living out Catholic values.

Academically, ICCP offers a rigorous program designed to prepare students for college and beyond. The Class of 2025 achieved a 100% graduation rate and earned $22.8 million in college scholarships among 89 graduates. 60% of students are enrolled in Honors or Advanced Placement courses, with 315 AP exams taken in 2025. ICCP partners with Elmhurst University and Benedictine University to offer dual enrollment courses, allowing students to earn up to 30 college credit hours while still in high school. In addition, ICCP students who graduate with a 3.25 GPA receive direct admission to Elmhurst University, providing a seamless pathway to higher education.

With an 11:1 student-to-teacher ratio, our small-by-design model ensures every student is seen, supported, and challenged. With a focus on individualized learning, our dedicated faculty and staff help students discover their strengths, build confidence, and reach their fullest potential. Students are encouraged to get involved and develop their talents through a wide range of extracurricular opportunities.

Athletics and activities play a vital role in student life at ICCP. 87% of students participate in at least one sport, and nearly 50% are multi-sport athletes. ICCP continues to invest in its athletic programs by launching women’s flag football in the Fall of 2026 and is currently renovating its newly added softball field, expanding opportunities for student-athletes to compete, grow, and lead.

Through its commitment to faith, academic excellence, and community, IC Catholic Prep forms graduates who are prepared to succeed in college, lead with character, and serve others throughout their lives.
